An Early Alpha Demo!

Hello Everyone!

To those who don't know me, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Alex, for the past couple of years I have run a small YouTube channel called VR Playground with the hopes of starting my own Game Development Studio and making the best possible VR games available.

A Brief Story

Altiverse is a matrix-like universe, humans have lived for thousands of years in one of many worlds created to contain humans by beings that call themselves "A.I.". Many are unaware that the Altiverse is a thing and that likely would have gone on if not for the corruption. A bug that has already absorbed many different worlds within the Altiverse, destroying and altering everything within it. If you fail to stop the corruption, your world will be one of the ones destroyed next.

Why am I releasing this so early in development?

Games as a whole can be quite difficult to make just right, and (in my opinion) VR is significantly more challenging. VR brings out many more potential challenges since players are able to do so much more just by moving around more parts of their bodies. There are so many more things that can go wrong just by players behaving in unpredicatable ways, a sudden movement of the wrist, a jerk of the head, running head-first into a wall... and the list can go on... I want to be sure that many of the mechanics being added actually work the way they are bug-free, player-friendly, and will work the way they are intended to as often as possible. For this reason I will be releasing constant demos to get as much player feedback as possible while everything is getting ironed out and the levels are being created.
